We have some exciting news here at Wicklow 200. We have been busy over the winter months listening to your feedback and comments on your 2022 experience of the current 100km and 200km routes. The upshot of this is that we’ll be announcing changes to these routes in January. Distances will stay the same, but the routes will be more accessible and easier to manage from an organisational perspective, resulting in an improved experience for riders. The routes will still showcase the stunning Wicklow Mountains and National Park, and will continue to be challenging with lots of climbs!
We are also very excited to let you know about a big development for the Wicklow 200 event in 2023, which is the addition of a brand new 150km route. We will announce route details in January, but are happy to say you can sign up to this route now. Designed for those who wish to move on from the 100km but aren’t quite ready for the 200km, it will take in the unbeatable scenery of the 100km and 200km routes in addition to the challenging climbs!
